1.Who we are

Bodysync is an independent website that promotes telemedicine in India and helps people compare online doctor consultation options. For the personal information described in this policy, Bodysync is the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Bodysync is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical advice.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send:

• your name, mobile number, email address and city;
• whether you are a patient or a doctor or provider;
• the topic of your enquiry and the message you write.

Basic technical information. Like most websites, the service that hosts our pages may automatically record limited technical details such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit. We use this only to keep the website running and secure.

We do not ask for medical records, test reports, payment card details or government ID numbers. Please do not send them to us.

3.How we use it

• To reply to your questions, feedback and requests.
• To review reports of wrong or outdated information on the website.
• To talk with providers who want their service listed on Bodysync.
• To keep the website safe, fix problems and improve it.
• To meet our legal obligations under Indian law.

We do not use your information to make decisions about your health, and we do not send marketing messages unless you ask us to.

4.Consent

We handle your personal information on the basis of your consent, which you give when you choose to send it to us, or where the law otherwise allows. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us at the email address below. Withdrawing consent will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

5.Cookies and fonts

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. Our pages may load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google may receive your IP address. If we later add tools such as website analytics, we will update this policy first.

6.Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers who help us run the website and email, and who must keep it confidential;
• when we are required to do so by law, court order or a lawful request from a government authority;
• to protect the rights, safety or security of Bodysync, our users or the public.

7.Third-party websites

Bodysync may link to websites and apps of consultation providers and others. Once you leave Bodysync, their own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for how they collect or use your information, so please read their policies before sharing anything.

8.How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purpose you shared it, or as the law requires. After that, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

9.Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No website or email is completely secure, though, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we will act and inform those concerned as required by Indian law.

10.Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• ask for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
• ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, or to update it;
• ask us to delete your information when it is no longer needed;
• withdraw your consent at any time;
• get your grievance addressed, and nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so.

To use any of these rights, email us from the address you used to contact us, so we can confirm it is you.

11.Children

Bodysync is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you think a child has sent us information, please tell us and we will delete it.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make an important change, we will make it clear on the website.

13.Contact and grievances

For any question, request or complaint about your privacy, please write to our Grievance Officer at Bodysync.in@gmail.com. Please include your name, contact details and a short description. We aim to acknowledge your message promptly and resolve it within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is in place, as provided under the Act.
